The Government of Pakistan announced Eid al Fitr 2016 Holidays from from Tuesday 5th July to Friday 8th July 2016.
According to The Ministry of Interior, government offices will remain close on 4th July due to Eid al Fitr 2016 holidays and will reopen on 9th July.
The Director General of the Pakistan Meteorological Department has already announced that Eid in Pakistan is likely to be on 6th July.
Speaking to Media, DG Met Dr Ghulam Rasool said that the moon is expected to appear on 29th of Ramadan for 40 minutes. The moon will be first sighted at Balochistan’s coastal areas including Pasni, Jiwani and in some areas of Hyderabad.
However, with two weekly off days – federal government employees will enjoy six Eid al Fitr 2016 holidays on the occasion.
